Watch this space for events that we host or attend. We run a number of free seminars and web events through the year, along with our annual conference in June. Email your details to us if you wish to attend such events.

In the past year Compass staff have attended at presented at a range of conferences and seminars, including the ESRI European User Conference in Vilnius, AGI and GeoData events in Ireland and the UK, at the GIS Ireland conference, the international e-Biosphere biodiversity informatics conference, and the European Commission's Sustainable Research Conference.  We supported a number of clients in attending the ERDAS conference in Oxford also.  In addition we hosted our own Compass annual conference.

Description:

2 day introductory course focusing on applications of GIS in environmental management and natural resources and includes use of key national datasets and problem solving exercises. It includes elements of the introductory course, covered at a more advanced level, coupled with data management and model building. Assumes prior completion of the introductory course or a solid background in GIS usage in ArcGIS or a similar GIS. Maximum 6 persons allowed on the course.
