Eircode is the national address point code for Ireland. Compass Informatics are Eircode Licensed Provider and so provide Eircode data and also associated services and tools.
Our Compass Eircode tool is outlined here – it allows the use of Eircode searches for example on websites, and the allocation of Eircodes to existing addresses. We also provide services to apply Eircodes to address databases.

Leading Search Capability
The Compass Eircode toolset utilises the Azure Search capability that indexes the Eircode data. Azure Search is a cloud search-as-a-service solution with advanced algorithms and features. The Compass Eircode web service sits on top of Azure Search and provides 3 items of functionality of use:
Access to this Web Service is secured by tokens.
The API is fully documented and can be made available for other searches and functions. Two tokens are provided – one primary, and other secondary, to provide authentication to the API with the ability to migrate from one key to another for security purposes.
Widget for User Interface Integration
An auto-complete jQuery widget is provided to the Client. This widget integrates with the autocomplete web service outlined above. A mapping widget can also be provided as an option (we support both Open Source and Esri mapping technologies).
